"Love doesn't hide. It stays and fights. It goes the distance.
That's why God made love so strong.
So it can carry you all the way home."

MONKEYSTORY #710
Today was the Monday that everything that could go wrong....well it went wrong...or got real stinky.
Took a certain adorable little monkey with me to a certain post office that had a certain large lobby.
A lobby with a very tall ceiling.
A lobby with shiny, hard floors.
A lobby with hard walls.
A lobby with that was very, very, very large and quiet.
A lobby that echoed everything said or heard.
A certain little monkey decided to toot....very long....and very loud in that very quiet lobby.
And then that toot made a very smelly smelly smelly stink in that lobby.
And then that certain monkey giggled oh so quietly....but said a little bit way too loudly:
"Mommy!! Mommy! I really have to go poop right now!!!"
This Mama Monkey may or may not have fled that very tallish, quietish lobby that held 2 gentlemen clerks standing behind the window....waiting very patiently for my business. Eye contact was not made and papers were gathered up super quickly.
The monkies took their business elsewhere.....but left a stinky trail.
Yes today was the Monday that went all wrong....but I'm sure it gave someone else a smile :)

In Loving Memory of Beautiful Jane
One of the most beautiful and kind hearted women went home to Heaven this morning.
Our family will never forget her.....she has left one of the most amazing legacy's of love that a person could ever leave here on earth.
She stood by my Mama's side over all these years....praying, encouraging, and laughing with her.
She would always remind me as we grew up that Jesus was always greater than any tough situation we had to go thru.
She taught me that just like the flowers needed water, sunshine, and love....so did the people in our lives.
She taught our little monkies the Thank You Jesus song prayer we pray at the lunchtable every day. My heart just cries out and breaks for the family...life isn't fair...I really honestly just want to throw a huge hissy fit, stomp my foot and yell at the Heavens:
"You can't have her yet!!! We still need her here! There are people who still need her love she gave so freely and unendingly!!!"
But yet this is what remains loud and clear: Our lives have been changed forever by her.
She loved like Jesus does and now its her turn for her reward.
She's dancing on the streets of gold,no more pain or tears...
So grateful today for legacy leavers and that no matter how dark or deep the valleys of life get...that beautiful mansions on mountaintops await us and
there will always always be hope.

Friends
"I cannot even imagine where I would be today were it not for that handful of friends who have given me a heart full of joy. Let's face it, friends make life a lot more fun."
-Charles R. Swindoll
Motherhood
"Motherhood has caused me to come face-to-face with my less-than-wonderful qualities. Sometimes my kids bring out the worst in me. However, God doesn't waste a thing. He uses my kids to bring me to Him. When I come face-to-face with my shortcomings, my weaknesses, and my sin, it's a reminder of my need for a God who wants me to be more like Him each and every day." #NoMorePerfectMoms

It Will All Work Out
Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.”

GRACE
Grace is the power to save and transform. To cover all of our sins and remove them from our lives. To get you off the hook and get you into the transformation of love. Grace is the power to change from the inside out. God's grace makes you want to change because your so thankful for His love and grace.

Light Up the World
Just as each little kid learns and grows in different and unique ways....so do we as adults. Somehow...somewhere along the way we forget this concept. We are all still works in progress ...no matter our age....on our own unique journey of life. I think the secret to having a more joyful and fulfilling adult life is to stop judging others in their journey. Just to take the time to love them for where they are....and who they are becoming. Not for who they were yesterday or the mistakes they made or any part of their past. Just love them for who they are today. None of us have completed that final lap in our race of life yet. Let's help others finish their race well with arms raised high and smiles of Victory lighting up the world.

Blessed Mama
These "littles"......they keep me on my knees....more days than not. Even though I wouldn't trade any crazy messy beautiful part of it.....the moments are never dull and not always easy.....but they teach me more about love, grace, forgiveness, and second chances more than anyone in this whole world. Sometimes we start our days with tears and heartache.....but ALWAYS.....we end our days with prayers and kisses. If there's one thing I want them to remember after I'm gone, it's this: We are all human. We all mess up. We will fail....but tomorrow is a new day. And there's this amazing thing called grace. It never runs out. It's for all of us. And it's all part of this journey called life. You can either throw up your hands and quit when your heart is hurting the most.....or you can push thru the muddy messes. And know that victory is already yours before you even reach that finish line. #icandoallthingsthruchrist #blessedmamamonkey

WISDOM
She is more precious than rubies; nothing you desire can compare with her. Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor. Her ways are pleasant ways, and all her paths are peace. She is a tree of life to those who embrace her; those who lay hold of her will be blessed. Prov. 3:13-18
