FROZEN THOUGHTS.....

Finally got around to watching Frozen with a sick little monkey today.
It's my new favorite... So many life lessons can be taken out of this
cute little movie!
1- Sometimes we keep our hearts hidden from others because we are afraid to let them in.
And sometimes that means we have a hard heart.
Nothing good comes from that. I encourage you to start letting others in...to see the real you.
We all have messy lives and all have messes in our hearts....so let's start being real with each other.
We've all got our own battles we are fighting....it's time we fight alongside each other instead of against each other!
Stop judging...start "melting" all the coldness away. It's only in soft hearts that new can grow.
It's only when we are transparent with others that relationships grow deeper and stronger.
2- This world needs more WARM HUGS. Start giving away more happy hugs!!
3-Some people are worth melting for! Find those people in your life that build you up, encourage you, and love you for who you are. If they only make you feel more depressed, negative, and feed your fears.....then it's time to find a new circle of friends.
4- LOVE is an open door....I can tell you...from alot of hard life experiences...that love is always the answer. Having a heart full of anger, bitterness, jealousy, and unforgiveness will be poison to your body and soul. Love is actually the most powerful force....use more of that...and watch beauty happen all around you. I can promise you that doors of oppurtunity in your life will begin to open like never before!
5- Go be an "Olaf" to someone today!.....seriously.....we all need a guy like that in our lives :)

WHO HE IS...

These are some short prayers to say and acknowledge God in the many aspects of who He is. I know I NEED to remember this IN THE SITUATION I'M FACING..not just afterwards!

Heavenly Father, You are my Restorer: You restore all that has been taken, destroyed, devoured, or lost from my life (Psalm 23:3).

Father God, You are my Deliverer. You set me free from anything that keeps me from the life You have for me (Psalm 70:5).

Heavenly Father, You are my Redeemer. You redeem all things in my life. (Isaiah 63:16).

Father God, You are my Strength. When I feel weakest, that's when You are strongest in me (Isaiah 12:2).

Heavenly Father, You are my Guide. I acknowledge you in all I do, knowing that You are directing my steps (Proverbs 3:6).

Father God, You are my Counselor. You teach me all the right things to do (Psalm 16:7).

Heavenly Father, You are my Peace. When my life provides little peace, I can still find peace in You (Ephesians 2:14).

Father God, You are Immanuel, the God who is with me. You are always close and never distant. I am grateful that You never leave or forsake me (Matthew 1:23).

Heavenly Father, You are my Strong Tower. You are a covering of protection for me when I turn to You (Proverbs 18:10).

Father God, You are my Hiding Place. I can hide myself in You whenever I am afraid and facing more than I can handle (Psalm 32:7).

Heavenly Father, You are my Wisdom. When I need wisdom about anything, I can go to You, and You will give me all the understanding I need (I Corinthians 1:24).

Father God, You are my Everlasting Father. You are my Father forever, and not just until I can figure things out on my own (Isaiah 9:6).

Legends of the Faith

How did Josiah transform a nation?
- He was teachable/coachable
- He overcame his past
- He built the house of God
- He identified with the word

We need revival and it starts in the HEARTS of each of US

2Ki 23:25 Neither before nor after Josiah was there a king like him who turned to the LORD as he did--with all his heart and with all his soul and with all his strength, in accordance with all the Law of Moses.

Pro 12:1 Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but he who hates correction is stupid.

Pro 27:6 Wounds from a friend can be trusted, but an enemy multiplies kisses.
