I really needed this today.....Thank You Jesus.
And thank you Lysa....this gives me hope and comfort that there are other moms out there
who have felt like I do and yet still raised up good kids despite all our mistakes.

1st Week Down
IT WAS A LONG WEEK! The kids all came down with these awful coughs and were extra squirrely. Aubrie started teething we think as she (who has been sleeping all night since she was 4 wks old) started having some awful nights. By Thursday I took her to the Dr and she had a red ear. Poor baby. She has been really congested and been sleeping in the swing every night.
A huge thank you to Jason's brother, Matt who stayed for a couple days and helped a TON entertaining the monkies!!! A huge thank you to my friends Joanna and Savannah and ONCE AGAIN.....my mom. She is the best of the best....I'm so thankful for her. Her love, her time, and her friendship have been such a blessing and have kept me sane so many times ;)
But she has been a trooper too.

Belated Fathers' Day Post

The day I met Jason, I knew instantly he would make a great father someday to some lucky kids. That same moment I met him, I heard God tell me I would marry this guy. But little did I know that despite the fact he wasn't the man of my dreams......a cowboy........he really was the man of my dreams......a music man.......(that is slowly but surely becoming "countrified")...and little did I know he would become the daddy to our kids.
And then the day we had our firstborn.....Gabriel.....the instant I saw him taking such precious care of him at the hospital.....I knew again.....he was gonna be a fantastical "over-the-top" kind of Daddy to our little monkies.
