Love is Not a Fight

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ED2ZnQ5rFIY

"Love Is Not A Fight"
by Warren Barfield
Love is not a place to come and go as we please
It's a house we enter in then commit to never leave
So lock the door behind you Throw away the key
Work it out together Let it bring us to our knees
Love is a shelter in a raging storm
Love is peace in the middle of a war If we try to leave;
May God send angels to guard the door
No, Love is not a fight but its something worth fighting for
Some love is a word that they can fall into.
But when they're falling out keeping that word is hard to do
Love is a shelter in a raging storm
Love is peace in the middle of a war
If we try to leave; May God send angels to guard the door
No, Love is not a fight but its something worth fighting for
Love will come to save us If we'll only call
He will ask nothing from us but demand we give our all
Love is a shelter in a raging storm
Love is peace in the middle of a war
If we try to leave; May God send angels to guard the door
No, Love is not a fight but its something worth fighting for

Blogging

So someone made the comment: Maybe your kids wouldn't get into so much stuff if you watched
them better and didn't blog so much.

REALLY?!?!?!?!?

You really think I do all my "unwinding activities" when my monkies are awake?!?!?!?!?

My monkies get into enough trouble and create enough messes and onriness while I am busy folding laundry, doing laundry, washing dishes, cleaning, baking, picking up, etc......

SERIOUSLY.....we are all intitled to our own opinions but I assure you this: Blogging is a relaxing activity for me that gets done at naptime or evenings. Just ask my hubby........it's part of our evening routine ;)

I love my monkies: onriness and all and I wouldn't trade them for anything. This is how God created them and I will be thankful always for their energy and zest for life.

AND......Mamas like me have to learn how to multitask double time when we get blessed with bundles of never ending energy. I'm not perfect.......but I'm sure learning more each day how to get things done efficiently with little ones underfoot! Only by the grace of God.......

NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE

Luke 1:37, "For with God nothing shall be impossible."

LUKE 1:26-38
What a statement! If we just believed this, how different our lives would be!

From birth we are trained to know our limitations. You can't have this. Don't touch that. Don't put things in your mouth. You can't touch the fire. On and on the list goes.

As we grow up, it's actually a sign of maturity to recognize our limitations and learn to live within them. There are limits to everything. It's a fact of life.

But God has no limits. When we enter into the realm of the supernatural, we have to take off all the limits. We have to renew our minds with the truth that God is not like us. He can do anything.

We have an awesome God whose power is so great that we can't even comprehend it. He created the universe and it didn't even tax His ability. Yet many times we find ourselves wondering if our situation is too hard for the Lord. We can't see how even God can pull us through.

The Lord said to Jeremiah, "Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?" (Jer. 32:27) The answer is a resounding NO! The only thing that limits God is our unbelief (Dt. 7:17). Today, let's honor God by believing that nothing is too difficult for Him.

How You Live

How You Live (Turn Up The Music)
Verse 1:Wake up to the sunlight
With your windows open
Don't hold in your anger or leave things unspoken
Wear your red dress
Use your good dishes
Make a big mess and make lots of wishes
Have what you want
But want what you have
And don't spend your life lookin' back
Chorus:Turn up the music
Turn it up loud
Take a few chances
Let it all out
You won't regret it
Lookin' back from where you have been
Cuz it's not who you knew
And it's not what you did
It's how you live
Verse 2:So go to the ballgames
And go to the ballet
And go see your folks more than just on the holidays
Kiss all your children
Dance with your wife
Tell your husband you love him every night
Don't run from the truth 'Cause you can't get away
Just face it and you'll be okay
:Oh wherever you are and wherever you've been
Now is the time to begin
Verse 3:So give to the needyAnd pray for the grieving
E'en when you don't think that you can
'Cause all that you do is bound to come back to you
So think of your fellow man
Make peace with God and make peace with yourself
'Cause in the end there's nobody else.

Worship

Worship isn’t just about singing, playing instruments or singing on the stage during a weekend experience.

Worship is the outpouring of our hearts, even through the most mundane, regular things we do.

Worship is seeing God’s hand in the beautiful sunrise.
Worship is smiling at that little one while you’re changing his poopy diaper.
Worship is choosing to love that office or school mate, even when they are unlovable.
Worship is embracing your circumstances, not merely enduring them.
Worship is thinking of others as more important than ourselves.
Worship is accepting that He is in control, and I am not.
Worship is serving.
Worship is loving.

Worship is a natural outflow of what is in our heart. It is the River of Life flowing through us.

John 7:38
"Anyone who believes in me may come and drink! For the Scriptures declare, ‘Rivers of living water will flow from his heart.’”

Romans 12:1
"And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him."

Tuneful Tuesday

We saw this annointed man, Israel Houghton and New Breed this past year in concert.

Talk about worship......this group knows what it means.
The best part is the first song: Moving Forward: when it gets to minute 3.......it gets really good.
Makes me think of the angels in Heaven dancing and praising God...I can't wait!!

Sunday Snippets

So this morning I woke up to a hubby not feeling well....so we all stayed home from church.....
and I also found a yucky surprise in my kitchen. It seems we hava furry friend. I thought I heard something last night underneath our oven, but we couldn't find anything. So I thought the best way to test it is leave something on the counter. The little sucker went for bait......yuck.
So I flew to Dollar General as fast as my van would go and purchased 12 DECONS!!!! I will get him......yuck, yuck, yuck.....I hate mices!!!

It rained most of the day....but we didn't care...we got out our fun new fall clothes and snuggled up with movies and then some praise & worship music.....the kids and I......and when Daddy wokeup around 11ish, he was feeling better.

I drank some new yummy Vanilla Biscotti coffee all morning long while the kids entertained me.

*FROM THE SERMON SNIPPET FILES*
.......Legalism does NOT keep you holy.....the Word of God does!!!!
" For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes." Romans 10:4
.........When Jesus died on the Cross....it was finished.....no more legalism!!!
Only freedom in Him!!!!!
