Pictures-Piggies & Combines

Mom, the kids and I set out on a shopping trip and because it was soooooo beautiful out...
we decided to stop at our friend's farm as they just had some pigs farrow.

The kids loved it....Gabe kept saying Piggy Poop? the rest of the day ;)

Ellie was adorable...she was waving at the pigs.

This made me really really miss my days of working on the pig farm in the farrowing houses back in high school, delivering and "processing" baby pigs. Processing involves:

1-cutting their little sharp eye teeth they are born with

2-giving shots

3-ear notching

4-castrating

5-cutting their tails

The little black baby pig was a runt.....made me want to cry because sometimes, these

little guys don't make it...you can see how little he is compared to the other baby pig.

Little Miss LOVES her big brother!

Sometimes the carseat pictures are the best shots because they are both currently in the stage

where they NEVER stop moving except when they sleep!

She loves to blow bubbles and do motor boat noises....this can get loud in church (and we go to a smaller church)....thankfully no one minds and the Pastor's wife came up to us last Sunday and said It's okay....we encourage motor boats!!!

We stopped to see Paw-Paw George on the way home.....it was nap time so no one took

a ride but it made Gabe happy to get to see him and the "tractors". The first thing he told

my Grampa about this morning was "Piggy poop!" Grampa laughed so hard.....

We had a fun day....we found lotsa good deals at our favorite kid's clothing store: Strictly Kids.

Hit the Coffeehouse and got some yummy scones....and Gabe got french fries which always makes him super happy! Now I'm off to wash up all those new clothes!!
