Convincing

So Little Miss Ellie has decided she doesn't need more than one nap a day....and in the process
she has been waking up at night too. (I have read if they don't get enough naps during day, they will not sleep at night as well. Had never heard that theory, but now I'm wondering if there really is truth in it.)

So at 3:15 this morning I'm rocking her back to sleep.....and talking to God about this comment. "Who are you trying to convince, yourself or the world?"

Well ya'll....that's the awesome thing about our Heavenly Father and His Word.
We NEVER have to convince ourselves of anything. Because afterall, we are NOTHING
without Him! And His Word is full of Truth and everlasting promises that no one here on
earth can convince you otherwise or promise you anything better.

As I'm rocking.....God gives me these scriptures:

"20 And though the Lord gives you The bread of adversity and the water of affliction, Yet your teachers will not be moved into a corner anymore, But your eyes shall see your teachers. 21 Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “ This is the way, walk in it,” Whenever you turn to the right hand Or whenever you turn to the left. "
Isaiah 30:20-21

" teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen."
Matthew 28:20

[ Life and Judgment Are Through the Son ] “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life." John 5:24

"Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come."
Matthew 12:32

"For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it." Matthew 16:25

"Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life."
John 6:47

Hey lady? How are you. Hope you got some sleep last night. I do think that if our baby doesn't get enough zzz's in the day they become overstimulated and tired beyond belief, and then will not sleep well at night. This has happened to us. And especially if we have kept them up too late at night, we are bound to be hearing little whimpers in the wee hours of the morning.Have a great weekend!
