It Will Be Alright

"In the end everything will be all right, nothing can harm you permanently; no loss is lasting, no defeat more than transitory, no disappointment is conclusive. Suffering, failure, loneliness, sorrow, discouragement and death will be part of your journey, but the kingdom of God will conquer all of these horrors. No evil can resist grace forever."
-Brennan Manning, The Ragamuffin Gospel

There are so many out there that have lost their homes recently to the storms.

There are so many out there with empty arms, hearts aching to hold their loved ones again.

There are so many out there walking shoeless and homeless, needing a Daddy and Mommy.

There are so many out there with pains in their stomach, crying out with hunger.

There are so many out there living in abusive situations, not knowing what will happen next.

There are so many out there struggling financially, hardly any pennies left but bills to pay.

There are so many out there jobless for one reason or another.

There are so many out there fighting the fight with cancer or other diseases.

There are so many out there in broken relationships.

There are so many out there with barren wombs...longing for new life.

Whoever you are today, whatever your need is....Whatever your heart cry is...
Whatever your ache......Whatever the pain....God loves you.
He will fight for you til the end.
His arms are big enough to hold you and yours close enough...
and He will carry you thru.

I love that book. I read it in one day. In my little bubble in St. Charles, it's easy to forget all those who have been hit and hurt by Hurrican Ike and those who are on the streets everyday. Thank you for reminding me to pray for them and look for opportunities to serve them.
