Big Blessings

Gabe was so proud to be hangin out with the "big boys" ;) My brother Isaac and his buddies.

Gabe and Ellie have both come down with colds. Runny noses, congestion, and now Gabe has a fever. Yesterday I was wondering if the late night at the circus created all the grouchiness but now I realize it's more than that.

Today I came down with a migraine so I had a hard time dealing with the whiney and clingy kids. Then we also needed to mow our grass in between all the rain. It had quit for a couple hours but we were expecting more (and are for days). So Jason went out to start mowing. The grass was so long and thick, the mower started smoking.....um yeah....it would not get the job done.

The day was just getting worse....But......God came thru and blessed us big. He loves to do that.

My brother Josh showed up and mowed. My friend Amy stopped by with a pizza for supper and remedies for the kids. My brother Isaac and his friends stopped by and distracted the kids for a little bit so they forgot to cry and cling ;) And sometimes all these little blessings are huge because they come just when we need them most.

Josh....You are the greatest ever....your huge heart never ceases to amaze me. Love you!

Amy...I love you more than you'll ever know. God had already blessed me big when He put you in our lives just recently and then you go and bless us again. Thank you for knowing exactly what this mama heart needed today ;)

Father, thank You for pulling us close into Your embrace today and providing once again.
