Pictures-Orphan Sunday

Today was National Orphan Sunday (or so we celebrated today even though it may have been last Sunday I heard)
And one of our favorite bands, ASHER, performed with some great music.

With some great guitar players....

With some great dressed ladies....
And a great lead singer....

And then after hearing some amazing testimonies and seeing some heart wrenching pictures/videos.....I was ready to come home and adopt 10 more little monkies to be brothers and sisters to ours!!!

And the highlight of the night (besides hearing Asher) was hearing Lysa Terkuerst of
http://www.proverbs31.org/ Proverbs 31 Ministries and getting to meet her and chat a bit.
My group of book study women is doing her book What Happens When Women Say Yes to God...and it's been great. You can also find her at http://lysaterkeurst.blogspot.com/.
If you look closely, you will see in the background of this picture above, a beautiful little Korean girl named Ellie. She was adopted into a family in a neighboring community.
Okay.....so I gotta get to my prayer closet and chat more with God about all these beautiful little orphans with such sad, sad eyes.

Wow, you've had some big weekends lately sister! Sounds awesome--I'm glad you got to go :) And meet Lysa---not to heap praise on a person, but that is exciting!
