Little Sisters

So I grew up with 4 brothers and LOVED.EVERY.SINGLE.BIT.OF.IT....wouldn't trade it.
But I also wouldn't trade anything for the friends that are like sisters that God has blessed me with......like 6 years ago.....when He gave me this beautiful little kid sister named Sarah.

It was the greatest thing ever to finally know what having a little sister was like...in a way......
So she promptly became a part of our wedding party....because that's what you do: You have your sisters in your wedding ;) And then somewhere along year 2 of married life......we drifted apart. And didn't hang out as much as we used to. *sniff*
We both started growing different directions and took different paths. Sarah started the great adventure of high school life and I started the great adventure of Mommyhood. And all of a sudden I didn't see my little sister as much as my heart wanted to. But thankfully.......God always keeps those special people in our lives.
And thankfully we find ways to keep in touch and keep connected.....even though Sarah is now
a college chick and I'm a Preggo Mama chick with baby #3.
And somehow God is gracious enough to allow these people to walk down the paths of friendship again a little more frequently. I don't know why....but He is so amazing to give me these gifts.
And it's such a joy to be able to share my "little sister" with my kiddos......

Even if she already has taught my daughter bad things to get addicted to......... ;)

I wouldn't trade her for anything ;) Love you Sarah......more than you'll ever know!

Don't you love different seasons in your life ....
... different people in different walks but mostly, there are those that always fit back in like a pair of old slippers.
