I have NOT tried these yet, but have heard rants and raves AND they.look.so.good.
......so, if any of you get to making
them before I do....let me know. Otherwise I'll post soon how they turn out!
Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Cookies
1 cup crisco
2 cups white sugar

2 tsp vanilla
1 can pumpkin
4 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp baking soda and powder
1 tsp salt and cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg and cloves
1 bag chocolate chips and 1 cup nuts (optional)
Preheat oven to 375. Cream crisco and sugar until smooth. Beat in eggs one at a time. Stir in vanilla and pumpkin. Add dry ingredients (flour, soda, and seasonings). Fold in chocolate chips and nuts. Bake 12-15 minutes or until edges begin to brown.

My grandma has a pumpkin Chocolate chip cookie, so if these aren't GREAT, then let me know and I'll send you my recipe! I only get raves about it! Afterall, grandma's are the best cooks, right? :) Thanks for your other post too about what being a Christian is really about.
Yum! Those sound soooo good! I just bought some pumpkin spice coffee creamer today. I think I'm going to go make some coffee right now just so I can try it!
This looks good! I love pumpkin with chocolate chipe. I will have to give this a try some day when I am home and wanting to bake a treat! Thanks for the recipe!
