Favorite 5

Okay Lindsey and Sally...here goes...

The Strough Household Fav Five:

1- My Digital Camera (ditto Linds)
So many many memories and you never know when you might need to snap
and capture...so it's most always in my purse.

2- Water Bottles
A lactating mum can never get enough h20 and I have seriously been lacatating for the past
2.5 years.....so therefore.....they go with me everywhere I go. Also great if the kids need a drink.
AND they keep Ellie entertained in the car ;) Gabe also likes to play with them....just about every room in our house contains a water bottle somewhere..it's crazy.

3-Gum
I feel lost if there's no gum nearby. I think I'm addicted....or horribly horribly paranoid of bad breath....one of the two.

4-Child Cage...just kidding....the correct term is Crib Tent.
We too, like the Stones have had to contain our monkeyboy Gabe and it has been well worth the $78!!!!! Ellie is following in her brother's footsteps with being a climber....so she gets it next.
We have fascinated so many people when we show them this contraption. A blessed contraption it has been!

5- Animal Crackers
With Gabe being allergic to dairy products this is one cookie/snack he can have.
AND Mommy has fallen in love with them so they go everywhere we go because it's not
that fattening of a snack afterall, eh? And we here in this household....are always snacking.

Okay....ready,set,go....whoever is reading this, you are next....Marie, Jennifer, Mandy...I'll be checking yer blog to find yers!

We also have gum (Always sugar free) all the time, and so now Mia wants gum all the time. She has chewed gum since she was about 10 months old. I used to fell ashamed when other moms would say, "You give her gum?" But I read a wonderful article in Parents Mag. that said if your Child ask for gum(sugar free) you should give it to them freely. Most sugar free gum contains Xylitol, which kills bacteria that cause cavities, so it actually helps out when you have a child that hates, HATES, having her teeth brushed. And, yes, Mia swallows it every time, but who really cares, it comes out just as fast as it went in!
