Pictures-Relay for Life

Recognize this boy?!?!!? Gabe got a big boy haircut...finally.....i tried not to cry as i cut those curls off his cute lil head and told myself they might just grow back. AND how nice it is to wash his hair now....so much easier to do so now! He now gets mistaken frequently for my brother Daniel's little boy Gage....sitting beside him in the picture above.
Actually being a good boy and sittin' next to Uncle Jacob and Ray-Ray.

Lil Miss Ellie did great....until 8:00.....then it was time for bed.

A group shot before Relay started. We were all a part of Blake's team.
As we watched the survivors walk their special walk around the track...I couldn't help but cry
and just simply asked God again...."Why God? Why do You take the good ones first?"
They said there was a rainbow that night in the sky....and that Blake musta been smiling down....I never saw it, but the following night I saw one...a complete one above our house.
And God whispered His promises again...I may not understand His ways, but I trust His ways
and His plans even when I can't see....because my hope is in Jesus Christ. And I know that we'll see all our loved ones again someday.
Blake's team....I think we were one of the biggest teams.
We all had our matching shirts with Blake's beautiful and contagious smile.

Stopping beside the luminaries.....the candles in honor and memory of Blake that our family had donated......there were a ton, completely around the track.

Pictures of Blake by the track...

Gabe had fun being up high with Uncle Isaac ;)

Our happy little girl...just riding along.

Playing with Uncle Daniel.

Daddy wasn't able to be with us that night as he went with the men of our church
to Promise Keepers....he had an amazing weekend and came back soooo pumped for Jesus!
On Sunday they all gave their testimonies and it was amazing to hear.....then we had about 10-15 baptisms across the street at our public pool.......another amazing day.
