Well Ellie is officially an inchworm now as she gets around the "buggy" way.....
she does the inchworm army crawl and cracks us up. She has been getting into Gabe's toys
and frustrating him to where now he takes toys away from her....a whole new battle.
Another lesson to teach....it never stops with these little people. But it's worth it all, eh?
Especially when this morning Gabe comes running and throws himself into my lap
to tell me with big eyes all about a bug that he thinks is going to get him. (A big new fear
for him). So I calmly tell him he's fine and the bug is way over across the room and will not
get him. But him, being the very energetic, overly dramatic boy he is, proceeds to go on and on
with his spiel and won't let up. So Mommy promptly does whatever comes to mind first
that will distract him. I flare my nostrils and wiggle my nose very rapidly ( a pretty sight, let me
tell ya...a rare talent...most commonly know as rabbitnose).
He stops very abruptly with his story, his eyes get even larger and he leans over very far to look up my nose and say, "A bug! A bug!" Yeah, buddy, I bet there's bugs in my nose too...ha ha...very funny. Last time I checked they didn't call them bugs. I looked in the mirror because he had me traumitized then....there wasn't a bug in sight...or anything else of any matter.
Which goes to show overly dramatic boys have big imaginations ;)
Hava happy Friday! We're off to a family picnic in this lovely Illinois sauna -like weather.
Love n Hugs....Laura
