Heavenly Father, we just come to You today in humbleness. For Who You are and what You have done for us by sending Your only Son, Jesus, to suffer....to shed His blood...and to take upon Him, our sins....and then to die. Father, we thank You for this everlasting hope of an eternal gift that no one else can give us but You...and You alone.
May we live our lives for You in remembrance of this. And may our hearts drawn nigh unto You in all situations. Father, we ask for new openings in our eyes and ears to our surroundings. That we may walk closer to You on the pathway to Heaven while still here on earth.
May we grasp the depth of sin and it's costs. May we draw closer to You and the church and lean further from the world and it's lures. May we hold our armor tighter to our bodies and may we grip our swords firmer...so that we may fight this good fight.. that we might win.
We love You and long for the day where we can meet You face to face.
