Thank You
Thank you for your prayers for Jake....his surgery went well today and they're hoping he can come home tomorrow. He is having alot of pain despite the pain pump so please keep praying for quick healing and that he wouldn't get discouraged.Thursday, September 9, 2010
Please Pray
My brother Jake got back on the bulls tonite after taking a 1 year break. He rode 3 times and did awesome. However, his last ride, he landed wrong on his right leg and broke his tibula and fibula.(can't tell from the video footage if the bull had anything to do with it, will leave that up to the pros to watch and let us know)
He will be going in for surgery tomorrow. The docs said he has very tiny bones and depending on how surgery goes he might have to use a pediatric rod! I've always called him the cute lil runt of our family amongst the 6'7 giants ;) Hard to believe some of us have tiny bones....
Please pray for him for quick healing and peace during this time and the hands of the surgeons.
I'm thankful that it's just a bone and not a life.........he is one tough cowboy.

Pictures-Labor Day Part 1
Oh my goodness..what a fun weekend.....took so many pictures i'll have to do a couple posts. Some of my family headed to the Threshermen's Reunion and had a blast. Above, my brother Daniel figured out how to keep the boys right next to him. He got a fresh bag of Kettle Corn and they were glued to his side for a LONG time ;)
Gabe did a great job posing when I asked him to....
Lil Miss Muffett however, promptly refused....looked down and pulled up her shirt. Priceless....

Aubrie thought going underneath the tables was lotsa fun....
A visit from my preggo friend Lisa......she is just adorable! 3 more months to go!
Uncle MattMatt comes to visit too.....
as well as uncle Isaac......Aubrie loved hangin out with the big guys ;)
*sigh* we love our families ;) God has been so good to us......more picts to come tomorrow!
