We Remember

Today....February 14th,2009 is Blake's 1 year birthday with Jesus. Today..we remember him.
The sunshine he always left where ever he went....

The smiles and happiness he always shared.....

All the amazing critters he hunted, captured, and took to Heaven with him.....

The kindness he always had.....

The laughs that were always had....

The adventures that never ended.....

The man he had started to become....

The boy that was always in his heart.....
Blake....
We will never forget you buddy.
You were the greatest friend...the greatest guy...and you will forever be in our hearts.
We love you and still miss you so very much.
But today, amidst our tears of longing to hug you one more time.....
We will celebrate that you are dancing on the streets of gold.
We will smile because you are running in fields of green...as fast as the deer.running beside you.
And we will smile.....because today is your 1st birthday with Jesus.
Today we remember you: Blake Thomas Lee Hall

Please Pray...

Please pray for these families....May God hold them all close in His Mighty Arms.

Thinking on Love

Been thinking alot about love this week as VDay is nearing close by.
My hubby would say: What a schmucky day ;)...as would many others.

I love the day....look forward to it....enjoy it.....yeah, it's a sappy day.
But oh so great to bless someone else.
To go out of our way to touch someone else's heart.
To spread smiles.....which in return spreads love.

And I've noticed the older I get.....everyone seems to work harder on
this day at this thing we call LOVE. They love with more of their heart
rather than just a part.
They are willing to push aside hurts for a day....to love and be loved.

If only we could do this every day.....the world would be a little bit brighter.

We must dare to love in a world that does not know how to love."~ from Madeleine L'Engle's Walking on Water

Pictures-We Won! We Won!

Well it was another late night last night....we played Pontiac at home and WE WON!!!!
(We also won Friday night at Rantoul....another great game...our boys have been playing so hard and their hearts are all over those courts they play on.) For those of you that know us< Pontiac is a HUGE rival....we won by 2 points....it was edge of yer seat night all night and the Hawks played well. Gabe went to bed last night holding on very tightly to his "IsaacBall".
These pictures are all backwards....sorry....these are after the game. Gabe anxiously awaits the time when the game is over and he can "shoot hoops" as he calls it. Iffty is the manager and a friend of Isaac's.....he does so good with little kids.

We packed the house with colombia blue tshirts.....One of Isaac's sunday school teachers
came and brought his 2 little boys too.

Uncle Daniel and Uncle Jacob helping Gabe shoot hoops...he was so excited he could finally make some baskets in the big hoop.

Isaac's cheerleading section....he has ALOT of fans ;)

The rest of these are Isaac in action. I figured since it was his senior year I would try to get as many shots as possible.

Flinging poo

I am ready to fling poo at someone or something......I just tried to finish editing my last post of
pictures from Millikin and it malfunctioned 500 times!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let's try this again.
The last 3 pictures:
Out of 135 solo tryouts, 1 of ours: Chloe Hermes made it to the finals!!!
We were soooooooo excited and hollaring really loud!!!
Then at practices, 2 of our men were chosen for solos too.
It was the neatest thing ever to have 3 of OURS be recognized outa 300 students!
Very cool.......

The sound of 300 amazing vocal students singing together made me wonder....after many goosebumps and tears.....(I know I'm a sap) what Heaven will sound like. Seriously.....
I was so blessed to be there those 2 days and share in the experience.

A HUGE thank you to my family for keeping our monkies and taking care of them.
It means so much to be able to travel and know they are in good hands. LOVE YOU!!!
