Prayer Request
Please pray for my brother Jacob.
He got severely dehydrated yesterday and by this morning was throwing up/dry heaving uncontrollably.
They took him to the Doctor's office and by that time is blood pressure was so low, pulse was
dropping, 105 temperature (although they think maybe it wasn't acurate, they went ahead and treated him instantly as such) and he was completely out of it. They transferred him by
ambulance and he was admitted today.
We went down there this afternoon and he was still pretty out of it, sleeping alot, but temperature down some. His IV is filling him full of fluids.....his white blood count is up
so they are currently tryin to figure out where exactly the infection is in his body. We're hoping
the blood cultures tomorrow will give us some answers.
Thank you so much....love you all!

Twilight
This song has been one of my favorites lately...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v37BCCKBGTo
Twilight
Like the sky before the dawn
While the night is holding on
Sun and moon together in the gray
So my soul is shared by two
The worst of me, the best of You
Saint and sinner mingle in my veins
And I pray You’ll end this twilight
chorus: Twilight, twilight
I’m torn inside my soul tonight
The dawning day, the dying night
Oh, rid my soul of twilight
Oh, rid my soul of twilight
Good I love but evil’s done
Good intentions come undone
Good to know I know the One
Who save me from myself and
chorus
Oh, Lord, paint my heart a solid hue
The shades of You Oh, Lord,
break this dreadful in between
Inside of me Oh let it be, morning
chorus
I know the sun is coming up
Oh, the sun is coming up
Yes, the sun is coming up In me, in me

Place to the Devil
Ephesians 4:26-27 “Be angry, and do not sin”: do not let the sun go down on your wrath, 27 nor give place to the devil."
Pastor had a great sermon today and in it, had a great illustration.
Using the verse above he says this:
Did you know that some people actually have like a doghouse built for the devil at their house?
The dictionary says this:
Place: the specific portion of space normally occupied by anything
So seriously, some people let the devil in so often at their house that he basically has his own place at their place. Some people even landscape around the devil's house and take good care of it, making the devil very comfortable in hanging around and keeping residence there.
Whoa.....how scary is that? The Word says...DO NOT GIVE PLACE TO THE DEVIL....have we? Or are we safeguarding our home, staying in the Word, filling up with the Holy Spirit and not leaving any space for the devil to occupy?
Very interesting thought.....
I think I'm gonna go knock down the doghouse in our back yard that the devil put up when my guard was down. Better yet, I'm going to get my Dad's sledgehammer. And while I do it...I will be yelling the Word of the Lord...casting out all evil and showing the devil just who is boss around here..it ain't him. And I will do so by the authority of Jesus Christ.
Matthew 4:10 "Then Jesus said to him, “Away with you, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the LORD your God, and Him only you shall serve.’”
James 4:7 "Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you."
Luke 10:17-20 "Then the seventy returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name.” 18 And He said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. 19 Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. 20 Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven.”
Ephesians 6:10-13 "Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. "
Mark 16: 15-18 "And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. 17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

I am So Proud
"hey, my names chelsey,i'm 15 years young ;
but i don't live my life like abuncha other teenagers,
i don't party, drink, smoke or anything of that kind.
you may think "i'm boring." or "no fun."
but it truthfully doesn't bother me,
i've got something much better to live for than parties,
i have my savior, jesus christ ..he died for me so i'ma live for him."
I read this blurp this morning on my dear friend's facebook profile and started crying.
Why? Because I'm so stinkin' proud of this girl. I'm proud of her because she is a
teenager and she chooses Jesus day after day. I'm proud of her because she keeps it real
and simple. And I brag about her not because she is perfect but because she is up front and
honest. I am so proud to know her...because she is a BRIGHT light in a dark world
and she's not afraid to show it. Instead she chooses to rise above her circumstances and
doesn't worry about what the others think...she just sees Jesus and what He has done for her.
Chelsey, my dear...I love you oh so much...and I can't wait to HUG your neck ;)
God is so good to have given us the gift of YOU!
XOXOXOXOXOX

What I Want
Psalm 84
1 How lovely is your dwelling place,
O Lord Almighty!
2 My soul yearns, even faints,
for the courts of the Lord;
my heart and my flesh cry out
for the living God.
3 Even the sparrow has found a home,
and the swallow a nest for herself,
where she may have her young—
a place near your altar,
O Lord Almighty, my King and my God.
4 Blessed are those who dwell in your house;
they are ever praising you.
Selah
5 Blessed are those whose strength is in you,
who have set their hearts on pilgrimage.
6 As they pass through the Valley of Baca,
they make it a place of springs;
the autumn rains also cover it with pools.
7 They go from strength to strength,
till each appears before God in Zion.
8 Hear my prayer, O Lord God Almighty;
listen to me, O God of Jacob.
Selah
9 Look upon our shield, O God;
look with favor on your anointed one.
10 Better is one day in your courts
than a thousand elsewhere;
I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God
than dwell in the tents of the wicked.
11 For the Lord God is a sun and shield;
the Lord bestows favor and honor;
no good thing does he withhold
from those whose walk is blameless.
12 O Lord Almighty,
blessed is the man who trusts in you.
My quiet time this morning.....while I watched the sunrise...a beautiful one..and I can't remember the last time I did this. The coffee was extra good and the singing birds sounded sweeter than ever before and as I read this Psalm......my heart stopped. And then it cried out.
And my heart said this..."I want this: I want to sit at Your feet Father! I want to be the swallow and make my nest with my young right at Your alter. I yearn for You, Father. I want to set my heart on this pilgrimage! I want my walk to be blameless. I want to be the woman that fully trusts in You and because of that, is blessed. I want to be a doorkeeper at Your house, O God....to be Your holy and annointed one. And when I pass thru the Valley of Baca, I want to go from strength to strength....in You alone...until I come before Your shining face. My soul yearns and faints for You, Abba Father.....to dance in Your courts....this is what I want....this is what my heart , flesh and soul cries out."
